Abstract:

"The milkweed Euphorbia regis-jubae is the feeding plant of the Canary- hawkmoth Hyles tithymali. On Fuerteventura a shrub was found severely damaged by caterpillars of all ages. But one day later not even one was left. The reason is still unknown."
