Ceratomia undulosa
Thorax upperside with pronotum edged with yellow buff. Foretarsus with 1st segment not longer than 2nd. Hindtibia with long terminal spur more than 3/4 the length of the 1st hindtarsal segment. Forewing upperside with large discal spot; antemedial lines distinct.
Male genitalia: Uncus compressed, curved at apex, subcarinate distally both dorsally and ventrally, with a short lateral carina apically, dilated ventrally before the hook. Gnathos with lobe longer than broad, rounded-truncate at apex, sinuate, the margins turned up, so the lobe is concave dorsally, convex ventrally.Valve broadly sole-shaped, deeply concave. Harpe similar to that of Ceratomia hageni, produced ventro-distally into a pointed process; the distal and dorsal edge of the somewhat concave upper part of the harpe denticulate, the scaling on the surface of the harpe not very dense. Phallus distinctive, with an apical horizontal tooth, itself with sharp teeth at the proximal and distal edges, the dentition extended proximad along the edge of the more sclerotised part of the aedeagus.
Female genitalia: Ostial plate delimited proximally by a rounded ridge. Ostium covered by a prominent ridge that is produced distad at each side into a long, broad, apically rounded lobe; this ridge surrounds the ostium anteriorly and laterally, and forms the roof of a large cavity.
