With its four species known by now it seems to be restricted to landscapes with a well distinct rainforest climate. In 2013 and 2014 I was able to identify its larvae in the Philippines. A caterpillar photo taken by RICHARD SEAMAN in the nature park C&aacute;t Ti&ecirc;n in 2004 now proves its presence also for the southern part of Vietnam; it shows a not yet grown up specimen with a partly deviant colour pattern, but which by its physiognomy and type of pattern corresponds to another caterpillar from a picture made in 2009 by KATARINA ZACHARAKI in the malaysian Santubong as well as to my own findings in Luzon, Philippines. In the contribution the phenology and foodplants of the larvae and the distribution area including the puzzling absence of the species in the central parts of India are discussed.&quot;</p>
