U. Paukstadt &amp;amp; L. H. Paukstadt (2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2009), further field observations in the Indonesian Archipelago were carried out and approaching times of wild silkmoths were recorded for the islands of Ambon and Seram, Moluccas, Indonesia. Our preliminary observations on approaching times are demonstrated in several diagrams and discussed. No obvious differenced were found in the approaching times of species which are distributed on both islands. We have to point out that the observed approaching times are solely indicating that the specimens in question are on the wings and came to light during a particular time range (window). So far we were not able to investigate the reason why the moths came to light at a particular time. Certain weather conditions (heavy rain showers, lightning, gales etc.) are likely to cause a scattering of nocturnal flight times. Further observations, records and studies are needed.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
