This study aims to determine whether the morphology of the wing venation can be used for the classification within the genus &lt;em&gt;Antheraea &lt;/em&gt;as an additional tool besides external morphology, genitalia morphology, and DNA structures. In Part II of this series a representative number of specimens from each subgenus or group / subgroup is examined. The venations are depicted in a true-to-nature drawing with scale of taxa of the subgenera &lt;em&gt;Antheraea &lt;/em&gt;H&amp;uuml;bner, 1819 (&amp;ldquo;1816&amp;rdquo;), &lt;em&gt;Loepantheraea &lt;/em&gt;Toxopeus, 1940, &lt;em&gt;Antheraeopsis &lt;/em&gt;Wood-Mason, 1886, and &lt;em&gt;Telea &lt;/em&gt;H&amp;uuml;bner, 1819 (&amp;ldquo;1816&amp;rdquo;). Pupal veins are not considered herein. Specimens of the following subgenera and species-groups were studied. Those are the &lt;em&gt;mylitta&lt;/em&gt;-subgroup (sensu Paukstadt, Brosch &amp;amp; Paukstadt 1999), the &lt;em&gt;frithi&lt;/em&gt;-subgroup (sensu N&amp;auml;ssig 1991), and the &lt;em&gt;cordifolia&lt;/em&gt;-subgroup (sensu Holloway, Naumann &amp;amp; N&amp;auml;ssig 1996) of the &lt;em&gt;mylitta&lt;/em&gt;/&lt;em&gt;frithi&lt;/em&gt;-group (sensu Paukstadt, Brosch &amp;amp; Paukstadt 1999), the &lt;em&gt;helferi&lt;/em&gt;-subgroup (sensu Paukstadt, Paukstadt &amp;amp; Brosch 1998) and the &lt;em&gt;yamamai&lt;/em&gt;-subgroup (sensu Paukstadt, Paukstadt &amp;amp; Brosch 1998) of the &lt;em&gt;helferi&lt;/em&gt;-group (sensu N&amp;auml;ssig 1991), and the pernyi-group (sensu N&amp;auml;ssig 1991) of the subgenus Antheraea, the subgenus Loepantheraea, and the castanea-group (sensu Paukstadt, Paukstadt &amp;amp; Brosch 1998) and the &lt;em&gt;youngi&lt;/em&gt;-group (sensu Paukstadt, Paukstadt &amp;amp; Brosch 1998) of the subgenus &lt;em&gt;Antheraeopsis&lt;/em&gt;, and finally the subgenus &lt;em&gt;Telea &lt;/em&gt;(sensu N&amp;auml;ssig 1991). Individual variations or aberrations are, as far as they were detected during our studies, also illustrated. The range of variation in wing venation mostly remains unknown in all taxa of &lt;em&gt;Antheraea &lt;/em&gt;which were examined so far. Studies on the variation of wing venation in &lt;em&gt;Antheraea &lt;/em&gt;are generally lacking so far. An exception for example is from Nath &amp;amp; Devi (2009), who studied the venation pattern and shape variation in &lt;em&gt;A&lt;/em&gt;. (&lt;em&gt;Ao&lt;/em&gt;.) &lt;em&gt;assamensis &lt;/em&gt;(Helfer, 1837) of Assam, India. The following pages show only the illustrations of the venations.
