Details of the known larval host plants of &lt;em&gt;M. pyrrhosticta&lt;/em&gt; are also provided, together with a checklist of the Indian species of genus &lt;em&gt;Macroglossum &lt;/em&gt;Scopoli, 1777.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
