They illustrate the habitus and male genitalia of all the known species. &lt;em&gt;Xylophanes splendens&lt;/em&gt;&lt;strong&gt; stat. nov. &lt;/strong&gt;Haxaire, 2014, originally described as a subspecies of &lt;em&gt;X. tyndarus&lt;/em&gt;, is upgraded to species status. &lt;em&gt;Choerocampa jocasta&lt;/em&gt; Druce, 1888, currently synonymized with &lt;em&gt;X. pistacina&lt;/em&gt; (Boisduval, 1875), is reinstated as a species, &lt;em&gt;X. jocasta&lt;/em&gt; &lt;strong&gt;stat. rev. &amp;amp; comb. nov. &lt;/strong&gt;A sixth species,&lt;em&gt; Xylophanes louisae&lt;/em&gt; &lt;strong&gt;sp. n.&lt;/strong&gt;, is described from Guatemala.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
