Diagnostic features and distribution maps of all &lt;em&gt;Smerinthus &lt;/em&gt;species in East Asia are provided, together with a phylogenetic analysis based on DNA barcode sequences and a global checklist of all &lt;em&gt;Smerinthus &lt;/em&gt;species.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
