Here we report the male of &lt;em&gt;Laothoe witti &lt;/em&gt;Eitschberger, Danner &amp;amp; Surholt, 1998 first time from India, along with a brief discussion of the species and its male genitalia illustrations. In addition, distribution of the species and subspecies of the genus &lt;em&gt;Laothoe &lt;/em&gt;Fabricius, 1807 are also given along with the study area map.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
