Neogene reevei
Occiput and sides of pro- and mesonotum black, not white as in Neogene dynaeus. Hindwing upperside disc more shaded with brown in the female than in the male, where the colour is mainly restricted to the veins; width of black border individually variable.
Male genitalia: Uncus strongly compressed, narrow dorsally, in dorsal view parallel from middle to obtuse apex; in lateral view tapering to acute apex; underside carinate. Gnathos with lobe rounded, slightly spatulate, about as long as broad, sinuate. Valve broad, widest beyond middle, dorsal margin dilated-rounded. Harpe triangular, produced ventro-distally, the obliquely rounded distal margin dentate. Phallus with a long, conical, curved, horizontal tooth at apex.
Female genitalia: 8th abdominal tergite rounded-truncate at end, not sinuate; sternite triangular, separated from the tergite laterally by the pleural membrane. Ostial cavity transverse, with a short, wrinkled, scale-covered, semi-membranous ridge anteriorly.
