Dolbina tibetana, eine neue Sphingide aus Tibet (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae)

"Eine neue Art der Gattung Dolbina Staudinger, 1877 (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae) aus Tibet und W-Sichuan (China) wird beschrieben und farbig abgebildet: Dolbina tibetana n. sp. – Holotypus ♂ in coll. Ronald Brechlin, Pasewalk [CRBP], in coll. Museum Witt, München, und damit letztendlich in Zoologische Staatssammlung München, Deutschland. Innerhalb des Genus sollte diese neue Art den Taxa D. paraexacta Brechlin, 2009 und wohl auch D. tancrei Staudinger, 1897 nahe stehen, lässt sich aber sowohl habituell als auch genitalmorphologisch von diesen gut trennen. Die Präimaginalstadien der neuen Art sind unbekannt."

"A new species in the genus Dolbina Staudinger, 1877 (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae) from Tibet and W Sichuan (China) is described and figured: Dolbina tibetana n. sp. The holotype ♂ is deposited in coll. Ronald Brechlin, Pasewalk, Germany [CRBP], in coll. Museum Witt, Munich (Germany), which later, together with this
collection, will be included in Zoologische Staatssammlung München, Munich, Germany. Within the genus, D. tibetana n. sp. most closely resembles D. paraexacta Brechlin, 2009 and is also close to D. tancrei Staudinger, 1897, but can be distinguished by several external characters as well as the male genitalia morphology. The female and preimaginal instars of the new species are unknown."
