The publication date stated on the cover on volume 9, issue 4 of The European Entomologist is December 29, 2017, which was confirmed as the date of printing, as opposed to 26th December 2017, the date on which it was posted on the SMCR website (T. Melichar, pers. comm. to I.J. Kitching, 6.iv.2020). However, manuscripts included in this issue were still being revised and edited by I.J. Kitching as late as 20th February 2018. Consequently, the earliest publication date would be 21 February 2018 but it is likely to be several months later. Thus, the year of publication of included new taxa is [2018].
