| Abstract: | "A new species of the genus Antheraea Hübner, 1819 (“1816”), subgenus Telea Hübner, 1819 (“1816”), is described: A. (T.) meridiana n. sp. from the Sierra
Madre del Sur, Mexico. The male holotype, male genitalia structures and female are figured in colour. The holotype will be deposited in the INBUNAM collections, Mexico City. The new species is compared with its congeneric species, A. (T.) montezuma (Sallé, 1856). Preimaginal instars of both taxa plus hitherto unknown preimaginals of the Himalayan A. (T.) discata Naumann & Löffler, 2015 are figured for comparison."
