| Abstract: | "The final instar larva and pupa of Eurypteryx molucca C. and R. Felder, 1874 are described for the first time, together with aspects of the species’ biology from observations of a larva found on Dauan Island, Torres Strait, Queensland. The larval foodplant is Chain Fruit, Alyxia spicata R. Br. (Apocynaceae). Comparison is made with the larva of Eurypteryx bhaga (Moore, [1866]) from South-East Asia, the only other Eurypteryx C. and R. Felder, 1874 species for which any life history detail is currently known." |
