Abstract:

"Currently, the hawk moth fauna (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae) of Zanzibar (Unguja) Island (Tanzania) is poorly known. The body of available literature contains records of eight species only. In this study, we present the checklist of 21 hawk moth species from Zanzibar, 13 of which are recorded for the first time."
