Abstract:

"In this fourth supplement Lasiocampa eversmanni angelicae subspec. nov. is decribed as a new subspecies from the south of Jordan. Lasiocampa trifolii sardoa TURATI, 1913 stat. rev. is raised again into the status of a subspecies, due to morphological differences in the genitalia and the geographical isolation. Lasiocampa puengeleri rubrescens (WILTSHIRE, 1986) stat. rev. is downgraded to the nominate subspecies. Further results on a parthenogenetic population of Lasiocampa serrula undulata (STAUDINGER, 1894) from southern Tunisia are presented, as well as the caterpillar of Lasiocampa serrula davidis (STAUDINGER, 1894) from Cyprus, Akrotiri. The caterpillars of Lasiocampa eversmanni (EVERSMANN, 1843) from Uzbekistan, Lasiocampa trifolii sardoa TURATI, 1913 stat. rev. from Sardinia, and Lasiocampa trifolii mauritanica (STAUDINGER, 1891) from Morocco. Also from Morocco the pupa, the cocoon, the first and the second instar of the larvae of Lasiocampa tripolitania LEWANDOWSKI & FISCHER, 2005 are also pictured."
