| Abstract: | "The taxonomic history and morphology of the two hitherto known species of the genus Protaleuron Rothschild & Jordan, 1903 are reviewed. The males and females of both species are illustrated and their distributions discussed, with Protaleuron herbini Haxaire, 2001 being reported from Colombia for the first time. A third species is then described from Peru, Amazonas department, based on two female specimens." |
