Abstract:

"The authors describe a new Mesoamerican subspecies of Manduca albiplaga (Walker, 1856). The new subspecies is well differentiated from the nominotypical South American subspecies by an astonishing difference in the larval stages, as well as in characters of the male genitalia. All these differences are illustrated in the present note."
