Abstract:

"During his stays in Madagascar, the first author repeatedly noticed Lomocyma oegrapha (Mabille, 1884), exclusively on the trunks of coniferous or conifer-like tree species. Since these were newly hatched specimens and the individual trees were located far from other plants, it seems plausible that the introduced pines (Pinus kesiya) and casuarinas (Casuarina equisetifolia) are among the moth' current host plants."
