"A new species, Gastroplakaeis jaredkrameri sp. n., is described from the forests of Cameroon, Gabon (Ipassa Makokou Biosphere Reserve is the type locality), and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is compared with the closely related Gastroplakaeis epipolia Tams, 1929 (type locality is in Cameroon), and Gastroplakaeis greyi Holland, 1893 (type locality is in Gabon)."
