Abstract:

"The authors discuss and illustrate the four known species of the genus Pentateucha Swinhoe, 1908 and describe a fifth new species, Pentateucha herminae n. sp. from Southeast Asia. The new species is compared with the other four species, in particular with Pentateucha curiosa Swinhoe, 1908, which we now consider to be restricted to middle and high Himalayan elevations of northern India. The habitus of the imago and the male genital armatures of all the species are illustrated."
