Abstract:

"A new species, Mimopahca [sic] thelmae sp. n., morphologically close to M. jordani Tams, 1936 and M. tripunctata Aurivillius, 1905 is described from the Guinean montane forests in Liberia. It occurs syntopically with M. jordani and has similar male genitalia but a distinct wing cut; the wing cut is reminiscent of M. tripunctata, though the male genitalia differ. Mimopacha tripunctata is recorded for the first time in Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC); M. jordani is recorded for the first time in Guinea, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, and DRC. Adult males, their genitalia, and a distribution map showing all known locations are illustrated; label data of the examined adults are listed."
