Abstract:

"A new species, Pseudometa barbarae sp. n., is described from the Central Congolian lowland forests ecoregion in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Albertine Rift montane forests ecoregion in Uganda. It appears somewhat similar to Pseudometa choba (Druce, 1899) (= Glocia tenebra Bethune-Baker, 1911), which is known only from southern Nigeria. Adults of both sexes, genitalia, additional morphological features, preimaginal stages of the new species, and a distribution map are illustrated."
