| Abstract: | "The study of the habitus and genitalia, including the support of DNA barcoding, of a group of species classified within the genus Euglyphis Hübner, [1820], leads to the creation of a new genus: Trishulata gen. n., with Trishulata milenae sp. n. as the type species. Three additional species - T. cochabambensis sp. n., T. kozlovi sp. n. and T. tiagoi sp. n. - are described. The following species, previously classified within the genus Euglyphis, are transferred to the new genus: Trishulata lankesteri Schaus, 1910 comb. n., Trishulata marna Schaus, 1896 comb. n., Trishulata namora Schaus, 1905 comb. n. and Trishulata vittabunda Dyar, 1914 comb. n." |
