| Abstract: | "The Sphingidae Latreille, 1802 (Lepidoptera: Bombycoidea) of Tumbes Region (Peru). The number of species of Sphingidae (Lepidoptera: Bombycoidea) from Tumbes Region (Peru) is updated, which is made up of 26 species belonging to 16 genera, 4 tribes and 3 subfamilies. The subfamily Macroglossinae and the genera Erinnyis Hübner, 1819 and Xylophanes Hübner, 1819 obtained the largest number of species. Adhemarius daphne daphne (Boisduval, 1875) is recorded for the first time to Peru." |
