The publication date stated on the cover on volume 10, issue 1 of The European Entomologist is May 24, 2018, which was confirmed as the date of printing, as opposed to 21st May 2018, the date on which it was posted on the SMCR website (T. Melichar, pers. comm. to I.J. Kitching, 6.iv.2020). However, the first known receipt of a print copy of issue 10(1) of The European Entomologist by post was 21.xii.2018 (R. Brechlin, pers. comm., e-mail to I.J. Kitching, 22.xii.2018). Also, the pagination of the issue rather oddly continues on from that of issue 9(4), rather than starting again with page 1.
