| Abstract: | "The genus Rhodoprasina Rothschild & Jordan, 1903 in the Indian subcontinent. Based on morphological examination and mitochondrial DNA barcode data (COI sequences analysed in BOLD), the Himalayan populations of Rhodoprasina floralis (Butler, 1876) are examined in detail. These populations are here divided into three geographically structured subspecies: the nominotypical R. floralis floralis (Butler, 1876) and two newly described taxa, R. floralis bhutana ssp. n. and R. floralis mishmi ssp. n. |
