Characterized by, and named for, the prominent line that arises at right angles to the costa, crosses the discal cell to Cu where it turns approximately 90┬░ basad to run to the inner margin. Forewing upperside brown with darker brown margins; prominent postmedian band continuous from the inner margin to the costa; a large, irregular, triangular area on the outer margin from M1 approximately to CuA1, M1 and M2 emphasized by darker scaling. Hindwing upperside brown, with a broad median band, very diffuse on its proximal edge, extending as far as M2; blue scaling along outer margin from tornus to approximately M3. Similar to those of Eupanacra treadawayi, but:generally smaller;uncus about as long as gnathos, evenly tapering;gnathos longer;valve shorter;harpe much shorter, outer margin convex from base to apex;aedeagus with apical process short, not serrate, beak-shaped.
