Eupanacra cadioui (Taxonomy)
Similar in forewing shape to Eupanacra busiris busiris but immediately distinguishable by the straight, narrow, oblique antemedian and postmedian lines on the forewing upperside. Upperside of head, thorax and abdomen with alternating cream, pale brown and dark brown lines. Forewing upperside ground colour pale brown, similar to that of Eupanacra regularis regularis; white subapical line prominent, but less sharply hooked than in other species; a white submarginal line from R3 to tornus, bordered proximally by a brown streak; proximal to this are eight alternating light and dark bands run as far as the subapical area between SC and Rs2; proximal to these is the dark median band, then a band of ground colour from base to apex, in which is a small black discal spot; along the costa are several small and a few larger black spots. Forewing upperside reddish; 3 faint brown discal lines; marginal brown band speckled with paler brown; a submarginal dark line from near the apex to near the hind margin; fringe of outer margin white near apex and hind margin. Forewing length 28 mm. Similar to the male but slightly larger, and darker. Forewing length 32 mm.
