Eupanacra harmani (Taxonomy)
Similar in pattern to Eupanacra regularis regularis, but darker, especially the male, ground colour greyish brown. Forewing outer margin more produced at M2. Abdomen upperside with three lateral black lines. Abdomen laterally and thorax ventrally lacking the orange and metallic scales of Eupanacra regularis regularis. Forewing upperside with white apical mark similar to Eupanacra regularis regularis; area distal to postmedian lines not paler than the proximal area in the male, and only faintly in the female, the contrast less well marked than in Eupanacra regularis regularis, in particular this species lacks the light patch at the tornus that is present in both sexes of Eupanacra regularis regularis. Underside of forewing darker than Eupanacra regularis regularis; the straight dark postmedian line reduced to a trace near the costa; the line corresponding to the first submarginal line of the upperside represented by a row of postmedian black dots. Hindwing underside with a row of black dots contiguous with that of the forewing, and with a second parallel row distal to it, these dots darker, thicker and longer than in Eupanacra regularis regularis, so the pattern looks more like interrupted lines. Similar to that of Eupanacra regularis regularis, but:valve more oval, less trapezoid;harpe longer, more acute;aedeagus with apical process lobes aligned transversely, rather than obliquely at 45┬░; right lobe a more elongate, serrate flange; left lobe much shorter.
