Eupanacra tiridates (Taxonomy)
Transferred to Eupanacra by Cadiou & Holloway, 1989, Lambillionea89: 139. Erroneously returned to Panacra by Bridges, 1993, Cat. Fam. Gen. Spec. Sphingidae of the World: VIII.19. Returned implicitly to Eupanacra by Hogenes & Treadaway, 1998, Nachr. entomol. Ver. ApolloSuppl. 17: 70, who also erroneously stated that the "holotype" was in SMFL.
Forewing upperside similar to Eupanacra regularisregularis, but postmedian lines less curved anteriorly; a black costal mark present distal to base of Rs4, with a smaller costal spot distal to that; white subapical mark posterior to Rs4 triangular, not chevron-shaped as in Eupanacra regularis regularis. Uncus, gnathos, valve and harpe similar to Eupanacra regularis regularis. Aedeagus apical process distinctive, left lobe absent, represented by two series of teeth; right lobe nearly as broad as in Eupanacra automedon, with long teeth on the apical margin.
