Eurypteryx alleni
Diagnostic description:
Very similar to Eurypteryx falcata but darker. Abdomen upperside without dark spots on tergites 4, 5 and 6. Male forewing length: 38-40 mm. Forewing upperside with dark triangle lacking paler spots along the costa and without a darker area around the black discal spot. Forewing underside with a large triangular patch extending from the base of the wing to the costa. Hindwing upperside with a large black median blotch. Hindwing underside with two dark transverse lines.
Male genitalia: harpe broadens apically into a hoe-shaped blade.
