Hippotion aurora
Diagnostic description:
Similar to Hippotion celerio but forewing pattern less contrasting and pink coloration of hindwing upperside deeper pink. Forewing upperside similar to Hippotion celerio and Hippotion osiris but oblique and transverse lines reduced in intensity; in particular, only the second, black, oblique postmedial line conspicuous, and the sixth reduced to a series of vein dots on M2 to CuA2. Hindwing upperside most similar to Hippotion aporodes but pink spots of medial band somewhat more sharply defined.
