Hippotion chloris
Diagnostic description:
Forewing outer margin slightly crenulated. Forewing upperside ground colour greenish-grey, patterned as in Hippotion celerio but with lines and bands poorly contrasting. Hindwing upperside as in Hippotion celerio but pink areas somewhat tinged with orange and black area more extensive. FWL: 32 mm.
Male genitalia: Precisely intermediate between Hippotion celerio and Basiothia medea.
