Hippotion griveaudi
Diagnostic description:
Similar to Hippotion batschi but immediately distinguishable (and from all other species of Hippotion except Hippotion brunnea) by the narrow white dorsal line on the thorax and abdomen. Forewing upperside dark purplish-brown; first and second postmedial lines very narrow but discernible, fourth and fifth lines shaded in dark brown and highlighted along the basal edge in pale purplish-grey.
