Hippotion hateleyi
Diagnostic description:
Superficially similar to Hippotion velox form rosea but distinguishable by the strong orange ground colour. FWL: 32 mm (centre of thorax to forewing apex).
Male genitalia: Very similar to those of Hippotion velox but spining of phallus apex reduced to a single tooth in the basal group and to four in the distal group.
