Hippotion stigma
Labial palps small. Forewing outer margin strongly crenulated. Upperside of body pale grey; median area of thorax darker grey. Forewing upperside pale grey; a broad triangular patch on the inner margin and a lunate marginal patch on the outer margin near the tornus and a narrow strip along the costa dark grey. Hindwing upperside pale grey with a narrow darker grey marginal band.
Male genitalia: uncus downcurved, considerably longer than gnathos; valve long and narrow, rounded, with a subapical semi-circular thickening on the outer surface; harpe rather short and wide, ending in a short, sharp, abruptly upcurved spine; phallus straight, apical process with several marginal teeth on the left and a long, stout basally recurved hook that protrudes beyond the apex on the right; vesica unarmed.
Female genitalia: antevaginal plate completely membranous; postvaginal plate narrow; antrum very short, slightly twisted to the right; ductus bursae very long; corpus bursae unknown.
