Hypaedalea neglecta (Taxonomy)
Thorax upperside with large dorsal patch of raised olive-brown scales continued from head. Labial palps pale yellowish-buff below, dark purplish-brown above, reddish laterally. Legs yellowish-buff, outer surfaces of tibiae brownish-red. Forewing upperside with a large dark brown blotch posterior of discal cell between submarginal and median lines. Forewing length 27 mm. Uncus slightly curved, apex blunt, not very heavily sclerotized. Gnathos much shorter than uncus, upcurved, sharply pointed, heavily sclerotized apically. Harpe long, very slender, well sclerotized, slightly incurved, apex spatulate. Aedeagus short, thick, rapidly tapering proximally, with a long curved minutely dentate apical process on the left, its base on the dorsal aspect of the aedeagus having a cluster of larger teeth. Postvaginal plate very small, sharply angled laterally and posteriorly. Antrum short and wide. Ductus bursae short. Corpus bursae rather long, minutely pitted. Signum almost as long as corpus bursae, consisting of two narrow parallel strips of closely placed small teeth separated by a very narrow smooth gap; outer margins of signum very regular.
