Litosphingia minettii
Known only from the holotype and five paratype males.
Overall appearance rough-scaled, resembling some species of Notodontidae; ground colour pale grey.Similar to Litosphingia corticea but forewing shorter, more rounded; hindwing more rounded, tornus less produced. Forewing upperside similar to Litosphingia corticea but black discal spot conspicuous; postmedian oblique black band reduced to a black chevron between M2 and M3, a small black dash across CuA1, and a trace of another across CuA2; apical dash more sharply marked; fringes more prominently chequered. Forewing underside similar to Litosphingia corticea but with a well marked apical dash; costal area somewhat darker and veins less conspicuous. Hindwing upperside uniform grey, darker than forewing upperside (paler in Litosphingia corticea), so darker veins less prominent; fringes more chequered. 23.5-25 mm. Similar to Litosphingia corticea but:Uncus flared but apically bifurcate.Gnathos strongly sclerotized.Valve with costa and apex continuously and strongly sclerotized, basal part with short thick setae and margin strongly serrate, apical part even and smooth.Harpe apically thinner and less sclerotized.Aedeagus shorter and more angled.
