Macroglossum corythus subsp. fuscicauda
Diagnostic description:
Palp greyish white. Abdomen upperside with anal tuft ochraceous only at tip, or quite brownish black; lateral tufts of segments 4 to 6 yellow. Thorax underside dark hazel laterally, the middle dirty grey. Abdomen underside nearly as dark hazel as wings, the middle of segments sometimes a little paler; anal tuft more or less tawny. Hindwing upperside with broad yellow band, the marginal border narrower than in Macroglossum corythus pylene. Hindwing underside less extensively yellow than in Macroglossum corythus pylene.
