Nannoparce poeyi subsp. haterius
General description:
Synonymized with Nannoparce poeyi as a subspecies by Rothschild & Jordan, 1903, Novit. zool.9 (suppl.): 111.
Morphology:
Forewing less elongate than in Nannoparce poeyi poeyi, but more variegated with blackish brown, especially on the disc and at the costal margin. Gnathos less sinuate than in Nannoparce poeyi poeyi. Ostium bursae proximal, covered by a triangular, sinuate flap; posterior to the ostium is a very long, rod-like tubercle, similar to that in Sphinx leucophaeata.
