Nephele densoi
Diagnostic description:
Abdomen upperside with black patches. Forewing upperside with bands are more conspicuous than in Nephele oenopion oenopion and not edged with white; discal spot consisting of several dots - dot 1 rounded, dot 4 forming a right angle, the outer arm of which extends along M3 to dot 2, dot 3 minute; a slightly curved postmedial band meeting inner margin at right angles. Male wingspan: 70-82 mm, average = 77.6 mm; female wingspan: 77-86 mm, average = 82 mm.
