Nephele discifera
Diagnostic description:
Abdomen upperside with broad black lateral patches on all segments. Undersides of labial palps grey and olive, whitish laterally. Forewing upperside with (form discifera) a sharply defined orange-pink patch near the midpoint of the inner margin (in form rattrayi this spot is reduced or completely lacking); submarginal line sharply marked, almost straight posterior of M2; marginal area pale grey, contrasting with the much darker ground colour of the rest of the wing; discal spot present but minute.Male forewing length: 32-36 mm.
