Nephele oenopion subsp. transitoria
Morphology:
Forewing upperside with basal band not bordered with white; discal spot minute (as in Nephele oenopion continentis) or absent; basal white edge of postmedian band clearly visible but not broad; postmedian band and area distal to it, which is very dark, strongly contrasted. Hindwing upperside dark brown, median band barely visible. Wingspan: 76ÔÇô76 mm, average = 79 mm. Wingspan: 79ÔÇô82 mm, average = 80.3 mm.
