Diagnostic description:
Immediately distinguishable by the narrow white band crossing the forewing upperside from near the middle of the costa to the tornus, where it meets a similar white submarginal band at approximately 90 degrees. Abdomen upperside with lateral black patches. Hindwing uniform dark brownish-orange. Forewing length: 36-40 mm.
