Transferred to Odontosida by Rothschild & Jordan, 1903, Novit. zool.9 (suppl.): 586.
Morphology:
Completely different in habitus from Odontosida magnificum. Superficially very similar to Rufoclanis numosae subjectus but forewing upperside ground colour pale grey, contrasting with the pale orange-brown hindwing upperside. Hindwing upperside pale orange-brown, basal area not yellow. Forewing underside almost uniformly pale orange-brown. Harpe wide, rounded. Aedeagus apical process wide, straight.
