Pachygonidia mielkei (Taxonomy)
Forewing apex truncate, slightly sinuate between Rs3 and Rs4; outer margin concave between Rs4 and M2, convex at M2 but not angulate (as in Pachygonidia subhamata). Forewing upperside with the grey-brown submarginal patch on M1-M2 distinct and more restricted than in Pachygonidia hopfferi. Hindwing upperside with two median transverse pink bands (pink tone stronger than in Pachygonidia subhamata); these bands paler, broader and more extended towards the costal margin than in Pachygonidia subhamata. 32-35 mm. 35-37 mm. Very similar to those of Pachygonidia hopfferi but:Saccus longer and tapering more smoothly.Juxta more quadrangular and less excavated distally.Valves asymmetrical with regard to the layout of the stridulatory scales, right valve apparently lacking such scales, those of the left valve in a medial patch.Apex of aedeagus without a transverse process.
