Parum colligata (Taxonomy)

Similar to Craspedortha porhpyria, but can be distinguished particularly by the presence of a longitudinal discal black streak on the hindwing underside. On the underside of the wings the retinaculum is vestigial and the frenulum shortened, unlike the situation in Craspedortha porhpyria where these structures are not reduced. Black markings more prominent than in the male. Uncus downcurved, compressed at the curvature, apical edge transverse, sharp, angles rounded, upper surface carinate distally.Gnathos composed of a low transverse ridge, granulose. Valva sole-shaped. Harpe with distal part forming a strongly sclerotised, longitudinal ventral ridge, slightly bent dorsad and granulose. Aedeagus with apical edge folded.
