Praedora marshalli
Body upperside brownish grey; collar with a thin, almost white, transverse line; sides of mesothoracic tegula brownish black. Abdomen upperside with a series of small mesial dots and a longitudinal lateral band that are brownish black, and 2 widely separated rows of whitish dorsal dots. Body underside grey. Palpus brown laterally. Forewing upperside grey with brownish black markings including: some undulating antemedian lines, curving costad; 2 S-shaped discal lines, the distal more distinct; a post-discal zigzag line, more distinct anteriorly; some submarginal triangular spots, pointing distad and more-or-less joined to the post-discal line; a distinct lunule in cell Rs4; discal mark white, edged with brown; fringe brown, with heavy whitish-grey spots. Underside of both wings brownish-grey, with traces of 2 discal lines. Hindwing upperside pale greyish brown, darker distally, the fringe brown, with heavy whitish-grey spots. Forewing length: 20 mm.
The subspecies assignment of the Angola and Botswana populations remains to be determned.
