Proserpinus clarkiae (Taxonomy)
General description:
Transferred to Proserpinus by Clemens, 1859, J. Acad. nat. Sci. Philad. (2) 4: 134.
Morphology:
Labial palp short, obtuse. Forewing underside basal orange colour vestigial or absent. Hindwing upperside pale-orange or yellowish, marginal band of hindwing black. Gnathos much shorter and broader than uncus, obtusely broad-shaped. Harpe notched just before apex, without process.
